Creative Digital Media Summer Camps
Are you interested in making videos? Want to learn the tools to become the next YouTube star? Or how to create interactive installations with Arduino and electronics? Register now for a FREE two week workshop in Creative Digital Media.
This programme is designed to introduce you to digital media design, interactive design and electronic arts. Taught by our own Creative Digital Media degree lecturers and students, our two-week summer camps consist of hands-on making workshops. You will learn how to create your own short films, including brainstorming and development from ideas to script, camera use, sound design, digital video, and editing. You will also create interactive multimedia electronic spaces to publicly showcase your work.
If you wish you can also learn some creative coding using Processing, and prototype design and physical computing with Arduino and Makey Makey kits.
Finally, you can gain first hand experience with professional online marketing skills such as the appropriate use of platforms such as Instagram, Youtube and Facebook as spaces for digital entrepreneurship.
All workshops are absolutely FREE, and are aimed at young people aged 13-17. The camps will run Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm in the Creative Digital Media centre in IT Tallaght. Numbers are strictly limited to 20 per camp. Please fill in the application form below to register your interest, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details
